Shape is only part of the brief. Heat, loads, contact with other parts and which surfaces will be visible also guide the solution. We recommend a material and printing approach after a technical assessment.

The way a part is positioned during printing can affect its surface and properties. Mark the visible and functional faces. We discuss possible support marks or layer lines in relation to the chosen process.
Surfaces that fit perfectly in a digital model may not make a suitable joint once printed. We need to agree clearances, critical dimensions and how to check the fit, ideally with details of the adjoining part.
A prototype for checking shape is not automatically suitable as a finished load-bearing part. Temperature, loads and the environment need assessment. Medical, food-contact or safety-critical uses require specifically verified properties.

A model can look right on screen yet fail under load. That is why we ask how it will be used, where it joins other parts and what stresses it will face.
Units, wall thickness and the accessibility of details all matter. At the initial review, we check the file and flag features that may need adjusting.
A first piece helps check shape and assembly before making a larger quantity. Knowing how many you need helps us choose an appropriate production process.
We assess 3D printing projects in Bratislava, including enquiries handled remotely. After your first enquiry, we ask for a model or sketch. Just as importantly, tell us whether the piece is only for checking shape or needs to work as a functional part. That guides our assessment of materials, print orientation and whether a trial piece is needed.
