Not every idea needs every process we offer. We choose the approach around the material, function and budget. If a design has a technical limitation, we explain it and discuss a suitable adjustment.

A real project · food shop
An idea became a distinctive shop feature
For a food shop, we made three-dimensional features inspired by the shape of an apple. Layered timber panels and lines of light create depth that stands out from the shop floor. These photographs show our work installed in the shop.

Build the brief
We gather dimensions, the intended use, quantity and any files or references you have.
Assess and propose
We assess feasibility, recommend a process and set out the scope of the quote.
Approve or prototype
We confirm the design and, where needed, agree a trial piece first.
Make and inspect
We make the agreed piece and check the important specifications before handover.

A little planning goes a long way
A good brief explains the problem
Explaining the purpose is more useful than a list of dimensions on its own. Tell us what is not working now, what the new piece should change and which dimensions are fixed. We can develop the rest together.
A sample is not a finished production run
A prototype checks selected qualities. We agree whether we are testing shape, strength, finish or simply the visual direction. The outcome of those checks then informs repeat production.
Identify critical dimensions
Not all dimensions are equally important. Features that connect to an existing part need clear requirements. We agree tolerances and inspection methods before quoting, not at collection.

Good to know before you enquire
Can I start with just an idea?
Yes. Describe its purpose and add dimensions or a reference image. We assess what needs developing further.
Can you make anything from a photograph?
A photograph can be a starting point, but we still need to assess feasibility, materials and construction.
Do I also need to commission the design?
If you have suitable, complete files, less preparation may be needed. We assess any further development when reviewing your enquiry.
Can we start with one piece?
Yes. A one-off piece or prototype can be a standalone commission.
How does a follow-on production run work?
We start from the approved result, then agree quantity, inspection and timing. The run is priced according to its scope.

Not every project fits a single product label. For an unusual commission, we bring design, materials and making processes together around the result you need.
From an idea to a clear brief
A sketch or reference image is a useful start, but purpose and location matter too. Before designing, we clarify dimensions, quantity and the key constraints.
Combining materials
Timber, resin and metal each have different properties and making requirements. We choose the right combination for the structure, appearance and intended use.
A prototype or production run
A one-off piece and repeat production need different preparation and checks. We define the scope, process and price only after reviewing the particular brief.
Separate requirements from inspiration
Send a sketch, photograph or drawing to our Bratislava workshop for an initial review. Mark what the finished piece must meet exactly, such as a dimension or function, and what is simply visual inspiration. This helps us decide whether a design is enough, a sample is needed or the project can move straight into production.
