Stability is about more than weight
Base width, top position and load distribution all matter. For a bracket or stand, we also need to understand how the piece will be used. An image of the look you want needs to be backed up by practical requirements.
Plan timber fixings at the design stage
A timber top can move as conditions change. Its connection to metal needs to suit the material and structure. Fixed points and allowances for movement should be planned before manufacture, not improvised during assembly.
Indoor and outdoor use have different demands
We select metal protection for the environment and the available process. A furniture component for a dry room is not automatically suitable for a terrace. Outdoor use and maintenance need to be discussed separately.

Bespoke metalwork: loads, joints and finishes
The metal structure often determines the stability of the entire piece. We therefore design it alongside the top, cladding, fitting method and environment, rather than in isolation.
Loads and connections
A table base, bracket and support each do a different job. We need to know the weight of adjoining parts and how they will be fixed.
Dimensions and tolerances
A clear, dimensioned sketch helps identify clashes before manufacture. Where the component meets another piece, we also check the important fitting dimensions.
Finish and environment
The metal's appearance should complement timber or resin while also suiting its location. We clarify the required finish and environmental conditions before quoting.

We make metal components in Bratislava. Before deciding on the process, we need to know what the component will support and how it connects to timber, a wall or the floor. For an existing space, fitting dimensions and access to the location matter too. We choose the finish to suit its use and environment.
