Materials and craftsmanship

Quiet timber character or a statement resin river

We begin with the timber and its natural grain. Resin can fill small gaps discreetly or become the striking centre of the tabletop. Every decision belongs to the same design: the edges, finish, proportions and stability all need to suit how you use the piece.

Size and shapeLength, width and shape come from your room and seating needs, rather than simply copying a reference photograph.
Timber and resinTogether, we choose the timber character, clear or pigmented resin and a colour palette that works as a whole.
The baseA metal or timber base shapes the look of the table, its stability and how comfortably you can sit around it.
Finish and detailsWe select the edges and protective finish for the intended use, and check any bespoke details before including them in the design.

For businesses and meeting rooms

Bespoke meeting tables for better conversations

A meeting table should make an impression without getting in the way of a good discussion. We plan its dimensions, seating, base and cable routing around the room. Solid timber and resin can give the space a distinctive focal point, while keeping it practical for the working day.

A comfortable place for everyoneBefore settling on the top, we check the number of people, chair widths, legroom and routes through the room.
Technology without the clutterScreen positions, video calls, cable grommets and any socket modules are planned to work with the room’s equipment.
A solid foundationThe base is designed for the span and weight of the top, with comfortable seating at the ends as well as the sides.
Materials, delivery and installationWe agree the timber, resin and finish. For a large table, we also check doorways, lifts, delivery arrangements and installation.

A bespoke gaming desk built around your setup

A great setup needs more than a good-looking desktop. We plan screen depth, space for your keyboard and mouse, a comfortable arm position and a place for your PC. Then we give it your kind of character, from understated timber grain to a bold resin river.

Room for your setupYour monitors, monitor arm, speakers and desk mat help determine the width, depth and position of the base.
Cables and USBWe plan cable grommets and space for tidy cable management, and assess suitable ready-made USB or socket modules for your design.
LED lightingWant a lighting accent? We check space for an LED channel and diffuser, plus access to the power supply. The electrical arrangement depends on the component selected.
Make it yoursYour resin colour, an engraved logo or a personal detail can become part of the design once we have checked how it will work with the material.
Made in our workshop

Real tables. Different possibilities.

Our completed pieces show what a change of shape, colour or grain can do. Use them as a starting point for a conversation about your own table.

Azure River Dining Table — made by Ahoj Epoxy

Azure River Dining Table

A blue river with an open metal base. For your piece, we would develop the composition around the individual timber and your room.

Deep Blue Round Table — made by Ahoj Epoxy

Deep Blue Round Table

A round top and deep blue resin offer a different direction from a rectangular river table. A reference captures the mood; each piece of timber brings its own grain.

Live-Edge White Resin Table — made by Ahoj Epoxy

Live-Edge White Resin Table

White resin picks out the natural outline of the timber. The proportions, base and finish of a new piece would be chosen for the way you use it.

These descriptions refer to features visible in our portfolio. Dimensions, materials, price and lead time for a new commission are agreed separately.

How a commission works

A clear path from idea to finished piece

Your space and your idea

Send the dimensions, number of seats and a photograph of the room. A style reference is useful too.

Design and quotation

We bring together the materials, shape and base, then agree the scope and price before work begins.

Making and finishing

We prepare the top, work the timber and resin, and apply the agreed finish.

Ready for your space

After a final check, we arrange collection, delivery or installation as agreed for your commission.

Bespoke tables · practical advice

A little planning goes a long way

Try the size with your chairs

Mark out the tabletop on the floor and position the chairs. Check that you can pull them out, stand up and reach the doorway comfortably. A meeting table needs space for equipment and papers; a coffee table should be within easy reach of the sofa.

Comfort starts with the base

Two tops of the same size may seat people very differently. Leg positions affect the seats at the ends and whether chairs tuck underneath. That is why we design the top and base together.

Caring for timber and resin

Wipe up spills and use trivets under hot dishes. We recommend gentle cleaning and care to suit the final finish. No finish makes a table indestructible: small signs of wear should be treated according to the surface involved.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know before you enquire

Does every table need a resin river?

Not at all. We can use timber on its own, subtle resin infills or a more expressive composition. The choice depends on the look you want and the individual material.

Can you work from a photograph?

A photograph is a useful style reference. We adapt the size, construction and materials to your space, but the natural grain of another piece of timber cannot be reproduced exactly.

How do we choose the right seating capacity?

Tell us how many seats you need, the room dimensions and the chairs you plan to use. We then check seating, base positions and circulation space together.

Are delivery and installation included?

Your quotation will specify what is included. We need the destination, access details and information about any stairs or lift.

Are dimensions enough to give a price?

Dimensions give us a starting point, but timber, resin volume, the base and finish also affect the cost. A reference photograph or a short description helps us give you a more useful quotation.

Bespoke wood and resin tables: size, materials and base

Whether it is a dining table, desk or meeting table, we design it as a whole. The top, base, finish and surrounding space must work together.

Sized for the way you use it

Allow for pulled-out chairs and walkways around a dining table. A desk needs the right depth, space for equipment and a comfortable position for your legs.

Timber, resin and natural grain

Solid timber has a grain all of its own. Resin can complement it subtly or form a bold river. We choose the colour and balance of materials around the actual slab, not just a sample chart.

The base and ongoing care

Construction affects both stability and usable seating. We choose the finish for its intended use and explain how to care for the completed table.

Getting a larger table into place

Your table is made in Bratislava, but a larger piece also needs a carefully planned journey to its destination. Door widths, stairs, lifts and room access can affect the base construction and handover arrangements. Delivery and any installation are therefore specified in your quotation.
