Business event gifts in Bratislava or Vienna: from branding to handover

Event day is not the time to discover which gift belongs to whom, or that the box will not fit the planned bag. A good corporate gift belongs in the event plan: it has a purpose, is comfortable to carry and can be handed over without confusion.

Design around the moment of presentation

A gift placed at every dinner setting has different needs from an award handed over on stage or a piece collected on departure. The handover influences size, weight, packaging and where the recipient’s name should be visible.

Ask who will handle the gifts, where they will be stored and whether guests must carry them onwards. Beautiful making can be undermined by a package that leaves a guest juggling awkward luggage.

What the workshop needs to know

  • Event type, recipient profile and quantity.
  • Date and venue, plus the last acceptable receipt time.
  • Presentation method and size or weight limits.
  • Shared branding, individual names or award categories.
  • Language versions and who signs off the proofs.
  • The total budget, including packaging and agreed delivery.

Where an agency is involved, identify who approves the design and who coordinates delivery. Separate creative and logistical approvals work only if everyone is using the current brief.

Bratislava and Vienna: nearby still needs coordination

Making in Bratislava can be practical for a Vienna event. Geographical proximity should not be confused with an automatic express-delivery promise, though. Storage, access and the venue’s delivery window need checking.

For a hotel or conference centre, provide the event reference, a contact who will actually accept the goods and the agreed handover point. A reception address alone does not ensure the gifts reach the right room. Collection from our workshop is by arrangement.

Branding that works in the hand and in photographs

A simple mark and short wording are often more effective on a small piece than a scaled-down corporate presentation. Consider contrast, reading direction and where a hand will hold it. For on-stage photography, test visibility from further away as well.

Approve the graphics on the material. Grain, transparency and sheen change how a mark reads. A screen does not show reflections on clear resin. Sampling is a check on the result, not simply a delay before making.

Do not assume these arrangements are included automatically. Agree them in the scope so the organiser and workshop know who prepares what.

The right gift need not start with resin

Timber may suit a small portable piece; acrylic a graphic award; Jesmonite a matt decorative object; resin a design containing a meaningful company part. Choose materials that support the moment rather than complicating carrying and use.

A real component or symbol can give a gift its own story. In the Layher commission, client-supplied metal parts carried that connection. We adapted the preparation to an urgent brief while retaining the necessary curing stages.

The final check before dispatch

Check quantities, names, languages, any accessories and the packaging against the presentation plan. Agree how the delivery will be received and what to do if transport packaging is visibly damaged. Keep venue contacts current.

At Ahoj Epoxy we can start from a short event outline. Sharing the actual deadline and priorities at the beginning lets us focus on a workable design rather than late corrections to an unclear brief.

Your questions answered

Can you deliver directly to the venue?

The possibility, address and time must be confirmed in the quotation. Venue delivery should not be assumed without an agreement.

Can we work through an event agency?

Yes. We need clear contacts and agreement on who approves artwork, wording and logistics.

What do you need for an urgent enquiry?

Quantity, last acceptable receipt date, destination, budget and essential design features. These let us assess a realistic scope.
